Uniquely designed whisky glorifier for the Auchentoshan Whisky, commissioned by Opus by Prudential as part of Opus’ 2020 ‘It’s time to craft your legacy campaign’. Crafted to complement the exclusive Auchentoshan 1990 Single Cask (Vintage Limited Release) whisky. Inspired by the landscape of the Kilpatrick Hills of Scotland, it was designed to reference the homeland scenery of the Auchentoshen.
The idea behind this was to give a sense of discovery to the user—finding the tab, tugging on it, and revealing its unique function.
The glorifier itself, made from solid Angsana with copper-foil lining, depicts the rolling hills of Scotland through the meticulously planed Angsana fins. The tapered 3-5mm fins, designed to resemble contour lines on a map, gently expand outwards towards the middle—leaving just enough space to allow one’s hand to reach in and grab the bottle.
A removable tray was also included to allow the user to serve the whisky in a holistic experience.
